We've spent a huge amount of time making sure everything is at your fingertips. So we only provide phone support for Technical Issues – 10am to 7pm, every day of the week.
For everything else, simply jump into My Account or use our Support Centre.
Our standard installation fee is $25.
This is to cover the cost of getting you connected to Flip – there is a bit of work behind the scenes when installing our services.
At Flip’s there is a $30 credit limit we call the IOU. You simply pay it back at the end of your bill period if you’ve used it.
If you’d like to purchase anything extra, you simply top up online.
And if you don’t want to use the IOU, simply turn it off once connected.
No more big bill blowouts.
BUY OR BYO MODEM
A modem, sometimes referred to as a router, allows you to connect to the internet. At Flip you can bring your own or buy one from us.
With standard broadband (ADSL), pretty much any modem/router will work as long as it's ADSL2+. The only exceptions are Orcon Genius and Motorola modems.
For Ultra VDSL services, you'll need a modem that is capable of VDSL2. You'll usually find this on the box.
KEEP YOUR PHONE NUMBER
Assuming you’re in the same area, you can keep your phone number when joining Flip. Otherwise we’ll sort you out with a new one.
PAYING YOUR BILL IS EASY
To keep things really simple for everyone, we only accept Credit Card or Direct Debit as forms of payment.
